Ministries

There are many ways to get involved, but you don’t have to figure it out alone

Sunday Morning is Just the Start

On Sundays, we gather for worship, welcome kids into age-appropriate environments, and spend time together as a church family. As you get to know Broad Street, there are also opportunities to connect and grow throughout the week.

Finding Community Beyond Sunday

Community Groups are one of the primary ways people at Broad Street connect beyond Sunday mornings. These smaller gatherings meet throughout the city and create space for relationships to grow over time.

Groups are relaxed and informal. Some weeks include discussion around a recent sermon, others focus on prayer, conversation, or sharing a meal. The goal is simple: to build meaningful relationships and grow in faith together.

A few things to know:

  • Groups meet in homes and coffee shops across the city

  • You don’t need to be a member to join

  • Groups meet on various weeknights throughout the year

A Place for Your Kids on Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings, Broad Street Kids provides a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids check in before the service and spend time learning, playing, and being cared for.

We want kids to experience church as a place where they feel welcomed, known, and free to be themselves. Through stories, songs, and hands-on activities, they’re introduced to the Bible in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand.

A few things to know before you come:

  • Check-in: Located in the lobby (look for the orange sign).

  • Safety: All volunteers are vetted and background-checked.

  • Ages: Classes available for infants through 5th grade.

A Community for Middle & High School Students

Our student ministry provides a welcoming space for middle and high school students to build friendships and explore faith in ways that connect to real life.

Students gather weekly for a mix of fun, conversation, and teaching in an environment that’s relational and supportive. Leaders invest in students, and first-time visitors are always welcome.

A few things to know:

  • Open to students in grades 6–12

  • Meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM

  • We begin each night with a shared meal

Attend a Class

Classes are one of the ways people at Broad Street grow in their understanding of the Bible and Christian faith over time.

These short-term classes are designed to be thoughtful and practical, covering topics like core beliefs, the story of Scripture, and everyday Christian living. They’re a helpful option whether you’re newer to church or looking to go deeper.

A few things to know:

  • Most classes run for 4–6 weeks

  • New classes start throughout the year

  • Classes meet at the church building

Wondering Where to Begin?

If this is your first time, starting with a Sunday gathering is a great place to begin. It gives you space to experience the church and get a sense of who we are. From there, you can take your time exploring what connections make sense for you. Our team is always happy to help or answer questions when you visit.
